Hurricane Irene

Who says we can't have fun during a hurricane!  Though the wind and rain here in NY was nothing compared to what I've been through growing up in Virginia Beach, we were still stranded in our house for two days. 

We laid out white easel paper and let them go at it with crayons!

We brought out some pots, pans and kitchen utensils that they had never played with before and they were so entertained!! Listen to how Gavin talks too!!!



Once the winds died down a little bit we took them out onto the back porch(with no furniture of course). They loved the wind blowing them around!
