Summer Fun!

I just got asked "are you still updating the blog"? Ugh, yes! Yes, I've been so bad about updating it.  I feel like there's just not enough hours in the day to keep up with everything! If only I could hire someone to do our laundry!  So this summer has been packed with vacations, camps, swimming and playdates!

To start off the summer we enjoyed the 4th of July in Virginia Beach with my parents on their boat.  The kids always have so much fun on the boat along with a quick trip to the splash pad at Botanical Gardens!

Uncle Tommy and Michelle came for a visit to VB too!

Mom and Dad watched the kids for us so we could enjoy dinner out with friends while visiting too!

When we got back it was time to celebrate Brody and Sadie's 7th Birthday! We're not sure what Lola's actual birthday is so we just celebrated her Adoption Day which is the day after their Birthday!

Summertime isn't complete without snow cones, $1 summer movies, strawberry pickin' and stitches!

To round out July the trio got to enjoy a week up in New York with Joe's side of the family! It was a bit weird with only Emma at home...and a little too quiet!

Jones Farm!

And that was only June and July!!! I'll be sure to blog about our visit to the beaches in North Carolina with my parents too!!!

Fayetteville Botanical Gardens

We've been wanting to check out the Fayetteville Botanical Gardens but were waiting for a break in our crazy schedule.  So yesterday we finally headed out that way and so glad we went when we did.  It just so happened to be the day when the kids have a story time session and craft.  This time they learned about rain, thunder and got to make a rain stick (which was later found scattered all over the playroom floor)!

Though a lot of the plants and flowers weren't in bloom, it was a nice nature walk and the building is absolutely gorgeous (for all you Fayetteville Brides-to-Be looking for venues)!
