Holiday Festivities

With four kids under the age of 4 running around, no wonder this blog has struggled with updates lately!! I know, that's no excuse but seriously can we add a couple hours a day so I can get everything accomplished that I need to please?! So I'm going to combine the last couple of weeks activities into one post!

While in Virginia Beach visiting family we went to an event called Dickens Christmas at Nauticus.  I highly recommend it if you're in that area during the holidays.  The kids were able to dress up and take pictures (Emma wanted nothing to do with it) and they could also see Father Christmas, drink hot chocolate, get their faces painted and see a great train display.

Gavin helping Daddy put the Christmas tree topper on!

We had Joe's work party over the weekend that the kids had a blast at!
Some superheroes and princesses even stopped by!

Gavin waiting patiently for his pancakes!

Emma wanted nothing to do with Santa!!!

If you haven't been to Denton Ridge, you must! You can take a little train to a village with Santa, hot apple cider, molasses cookies, a country store, farm animals and the infamous goat that stands on the horses back!

Emma liked this Santa better!

To wrap up the weekend, the kids had their Christmas program that tells a story as each class comes out and sings.  Last year the kids were Christmas trees and this year they were cows.  Gavin is third from the left and Brayden and Ava are in the middle!
