Virginia Beach!

We made our annual summer trip down to Virginia Beach for 10 days! Every time we cross over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge there's this sense of relaxation that comes over both Joe and I. It's such a calm place to visit yet there's so much to do while there!  We started off the week lounging between the beach and hanging out on my parents new boat.  I unfortunately don't have any pictures from the boat because THEY FEEL ASLEEP! Can you believe it! We took a two-hour ride all the way to Waterside and they feel asleep the entire way on our laps!
We did go to the Norfolk Zoo for the first time though and they loved seeing all of the animals!

Looks like the Bear is howling!

Playing in the water (Gavin isn't a fan of water...weird)!

The Giraffe ate all of the straw off the roof!

Turtles!

3 Generations!
We also met my good friend (who is due with their second 3 days after me), Anne Marie, at their cabana to have a beach playdate with Carolyn and Thomas.
Brayden was exhausted!

Ava playing with Thomas!

Ava loves the sand!
We were fortunate enough to be able to arrange the trip during the time that one of my best friends, Megan, was turning 30!! So we spent the day at the beach and then Joe and I got to enjoy a night out to help her celebrate!

Avery and Gavin (he sure does love the ladies)

Gavin found a group of girls that had a float to play in!

Brayden was a little tired from the sun

Never a dull moment!
Of course we enjoyed lots of great food while on vacation.  Brayden even got to practice using chopsticks!

After 10 days Ava was pretty exhausted (on our way back to NY)!

Thanks to my parents for having to endure our "crazy life" for 10 days (though I don't think they mind too much)!
