It's funny to think that Joe and I have been married 4 years and have soon-to-be 4 children!! A lot has happened in those four years and it has tested and strengthened our marriage every day! I am so lucky to say that God truly blessed me with the man of my dreams on June 28, 2008 and it has been amazing to watch him grow as a father over the past two years. Because of various reason such as the military and ummmm having triplets...we haven't been able to do anything on our anniversary until this year. So while we were in Virginia Beach my parents so graciously agreed to take care of the trio on Monday night while Joe and I traveled to Williamsburg, VA and ate at one of our favorite restaurants, The Trellis, did some boutique shopping and enjoyed a night away at a quaint little Bed and Breakfast called Fife and Drum (highly recommend).
It was my VERY FIRST night away from the kids since they were born (Joe has been away on trips before) so I was pretty emotional at first. Of course I knew they would be in good hands and wouldn't even think twice as they were being spoiled by Meme and Poppy!

I think the best part was when we woke up at 8:00 (not 6:00) the next morning with no obligation to feed anyone breakfast but ourselves!!! What can I say...it's the little things in life!
Our goal next year for our 5th anniversary is to do a weekend getaway and I WON'T BE PREGGO!
