Disney World Vacation: Wrap Up...

So to wrap up the Disney vacation we combined Epcot and Hollywood Studios into one day since we knew that there wasn't much for our kids' age group at either place.  We started at Epcot and they have a really great Finding Nemo section that the kids loved.  We went on a cute little ride that's inside and takes you through different scenes of the movie and then finished with a really nice Aquarium indoors.
We sat in a clam shell during the ride

Brayden wasn't so sure about the shark!

My favorite...the manatee
We left after Finding Nemo and headed over to Hollywood Studios...but we didn't last long there...the kids were exhausted and would not fall asleep in their strollers for some reason so we ended up leaving early after a cute photo op of course!
Joe with Ava and Addison...could this be what it will look like in the near future?
The last two days in Florida were spent relaxing at the pool, visiting a cute little town called Celebration nearby and celebrating Aunt Kara's birthday!

So I have some overall suggestions for those looking to travel to Disney with kids similar in age:

1. Buy the book The Complete Walt Disney World  It has some great recommendations on places to eat based on price and must sees while at the parks.
2. If you can stay at a Disney resort rather than a hotel away from Disney, do so!  You'll be able to use the shuttle system and park for free!
3. If you are trying to cut down on cost of food during the day, eat breakfast before you go to the parks and bring an insulated lunch box that you can pack lunch/snacks in for yourself and the kids so you don't have to spend $50 on two hamburgers and three orders of chicken nuggets!
4. Get to the parks as soon as they open so you can park close and not have to take the tram.
5. As soon as you get to the park that day if there's a ride that you really want to go on make sure you get a fast pass (if they have one) so you're not waiting 90 minutes in line!
6. Don't make Epcot or Hollywood Studios full days...there's not enough for little ones.
7. If you drive to the parks, as soon as you park take a picture of the sign of the name of your lot so you don't forget when it's time to go home!
8. Make sure you ask where the baby care centers are (at all the parks) so you can have a decent place to change diapers.
9. Military: Take advantage of the free admission for active duty and family into Sea world as well as deeply discounted tickets for Disney.
10. There is a company down there that you can rent cribs, toys, strollers, car seats etc. from rather than hauling everything there yourself.  They will deliver it to your hotel and pick it up! http://www.kidsinsafetyseats.com/

HOPE THIS HELPS!!! HAVE FUN!
