We had our regular 2 week check up appointment for Gavin's cranial helmet today. When the tech took his helmet off he couldn't believe how good Gavin's head looked from three months ago. So he decided to do another Starscan and compare the numbers from when he first got the helmet. Gavin is so well behaved! Most 9 month olds would NOT allow a stocking to go over their face and head while laying completely still on a machine that scans over top of him. He was amazing!
The results:
WE WALKED OUT OF THE OFFICE WITHOUT A HELMET! So exciting and just in time for our long car ride to Myrtle Beach for vacation!
I've posted the scanned results of his head. You can click on the pictures to see them close up but the orange lines are what his looked like in the beginning and the purple lines are what it looks like now. He's definitely a great testimony of the cranial helmets be a success!

| His ear allignment was off by 8.7 mm to start with and now it's off by 6 (ideal is 5) |

The tech said his head will continue to grown until he's about 1 so it will continue to improve especially since he's moving around! We're just so excited he's not uncomfortable anymore while sleeping!! I'll have the babies 9 month appointment update tomorrow!!
