I'm finally getting the opportunity to focus on Brayden! He has definitely come the furthest out of all three babies. Brayden was our "C" baby and our smallest at 3 lb. 11 oz! He came home last from the hospital because of apnea issues in which he would stop breathing or his heart rate would drop really low mainly due to him being so small and underdeveloped. When he came home he was hooked up to an apnea monitor and was on caffeine to help stimulate him. The caffeine triggered acid reflux and ridiculous amounts of spitting up (I'm talking projectile)! Once he came off the caffeine though his acid reflux became non existent and he no longer had spitting up issues. While he was in the hospital, Brayden was the calm one that we could "count on" to be an easy baby. Once he came home though he became quite the "spirited" baby! We struggled to get through the day with him as he cried from morning through the night. Joe would have to sleep with him on his chest in order to get even an hour of sleep. Once the caffeine and reflux stopped though he went back to our "dream child". He is definitely the perfect example of an easy baby these days.

Time to go home from the NICU!

Brayden's middle name is Stevan, which was my uncle's name that passed away in a plane crash
Brayden is definitely the affectionate child and loves to cuddle up to you. If you're sitting on the floor with him he will crawl over to you and climb up just to snuggle! He is a great eater and he has in fact passed his brother and sister in weight because of it! He is crawling, trying to pull himself up to standing, has 2 teeth on the bottom and loves to say "Mamamamama"..... We're not sure if he's just making noise or if he's actually trying to say Mama. While laying in his boppy pillow he loves to watch TV upside down!!! Not sure why but he's done it since he was about 3 months old!
Some of Brayden's favorite things are the exersaucer, jumperoo, remote control, wooden blocks, opening and closing things, mirrors and the best thing....hugs!

Loves to play!!!
He was our smallest but is definitely the fighter of the three and determined to remain the biggest. I catch myself calling him my little man still though he's the biggest of them all...I think he'll always be "our little man" though after watching him fight so hard 9 months ago!
