Two Month Update!

Can you believe it? Our babies are already two months old!  Along with that came their two month well baby visit including vaccinations unfortunately!  So the weight update:

Ava: 7 lbs 15 oz (little porker)
Gavin: 7 lbs 11 oz
Brayden: 6 lbs 7 oz (my weight when I was born)

Gavin was put on Zantac to treat some spitting up issues possibly related to reflux so hopefully that works.  He also has something called Tortacollis which is the result of his positioning while inside of me.  It's similar to when you get a stiff neck from sleeping on it wrong.  One side of his neck is really stiff so we have to do exercises to loosen it up.  Because he doesn't like to turn his head one way though he has a little bit of a flat spot on one side.  It should get better as the muscle loosens up but if not he may have to have a cranial helmet to help reshape his head.  He also has an umbilical cord hernia which the doctor says will eventually go away on it's own.

Brayden is doing well.  He only has one more week of being on caffeine, two more weeks of Zantac, and three more weeks of being on the apnea monitor.  So hopefully there won't be any more episodes between now and then so he can come off that monitor by the end of August. 

The doctor was happy with their growth and all of the other developmental issues.  We do have a big development appointment in three weeks so hopefully they'll be pleased with all three babies too!!

The next thing we're working on is stretching out some of their feeding times at night.  We're going to let them sleep and not focus on such a strict schedule with all three.  Hopefully this will work and Joe and I will begin sleeping a little more at night! Suggestions are always welcome though!!
