Fried Turkey Day!

We continued the tradition of frying our turkey on Thanksgiving this year and it turned out perfect...with a couple hiccups!  Starting with the night before when we took the turkey out to put a rub on it we found half of it frozen solid...I bought it thawed! Our 'fridge had gotten too cold for it!We let it thaw over night and luckily it was good the next day.  Once we got it over to Joe's families house we realized that we didn't have enough peanut oil to submerge it so after going to three different places (that were open on Thanksgiving) Joe and Tom had no luck!  Jen and I saved the day when we ran down to the local grocery store in town and just so happened to find small bottles of it and bought 11 of them to fill the rest of the pot! It was quite humorous but worth it in the end!

The final product!
Aunt Karyn, Uncle Steve and the boys all came from MA for the holiday as well and the kids had a blast with them!

It's virtually impossible to get a picture of all three without silly faces!

All the cousins minus Joe and Jen
