Christmas 2011

This Christmas was so much fun this year because the kids actually understood the whole opening of gifts and playing with new toys.  Our festivities began on Christmas Eve when we had friends and family over to enjoy some food (thanks to Dad for slaving in the kitchen) and drinks.  Joe's side of the family brought all of their gifts with them for the babies to open early so it wouldn't be too overwhelming on Christmas Day!

Ava loved her new chair

Grandpa showing Brayden how to use his new workbench

We couldn't get Gavin out of his house (even though it's pink)!

All a boy needs is a set of keys and a nail!

Brayden snugglin' on his new pillow

Ava cleaning the floors with her new sweeper!

Round two came Christmas morning with "breakfast in bed" for the babies so they couldn't see their toys until they came down the steps!

Once they came down the steps the trio discovered their new Cozy Coupe Cars!

The unwrapping of gifts continued and lasted a while since they would get distracted with all the new toys from Mommy and Daddy and my side of the family!

Just a little spoiled!

Joe and I got to enjoy opening some gifts from each other and the kids too!  The highlighted gifts were Joe's scheduled appointment and deposit for his new tattoo Jan. 7th and my beautiful new cowboy boots that I have been begging for!  Even Brody and Sadie were spoiled this year!

Sadie found her bag!

Brody chewin' on his bone!

Once all the present opening was over everyone came over to our house again for a good steak, lobster and shrimp dinner!

Getting some lovin' from my little girl!

Dad working hard on those steaks!

Quiggley even enjoyed the new toys!

Can you tell she's happy?

Thank you to all of our friends and family that made this holiday season incredible yet again!  I get really excited for next year when we can really focus on the real meaning behind Christmas and do some good deeds for others with our children's help!
