Christmas Trees, Haircuts and Parties!

It was a very busy weekend for us as we started off with Christmas tree shopping Saturday morning.  Originally, we were going to travel to a tree farm and cut our tree down but the closest one is over an hour away and it just wouldn't fit in our schedule...maybe next year! So we instead went to one of our local favorites, Lawrence Farms, where we were able to still drink hot chocolate, eat doughnuts, play in decorated houses, visit Winter Wonderland and pick out a beautiful tree!

The next event of the day was Ava's first haircut! We've been putting it off since people still ask if we have three boys (even after we got her ear's pierced) but the mullet was getting out of control!  I took her to my hairdresser and she did great! She was very serious the whole time and stared at herself in the mirror.

She LOVED the cape that she got to wear!

So serious!

Her first blowout!

Sunday we had two parties to attend.  The first was our new triplet friends, the Dwyers.  Khloe, Logan and Kellen turned 1 and we went to celebrate out in West Chester.  It was a lot of fun with a ton of kids running around...so definitely our kind of party!  Of course our three wanted to get into EVERYTHING! We unfortunately didn't get any pictures since we were busy containing our children!  We weren't able to stay for the cake because we had to head to our second party, Joe's Department of Physical Education Christmas party back here at West Point.  We got there just in time for Santa.  We've been crazy about germs since the three have been born so we haven't let them go see Santa in the mall just yet. This was their first time seeing him.  Gavin decided it would be a good time to go to the bathroom so he missed Santa while Joe was changing him.  Ava and Brayden responded to Santa just as we expected though...

Ava was terrified!

Brayden woudn't take his eyes off of him!

There was another sweet baby at the party that Ava LOVED! She kept giving her hugs and kisses!

Ava is saying "What is that?"

"Just like my baby dolls"!

Our weekends seem to be getting busier as the babies get older...but we love it and wouldn't have it any other way!
