Memorial Day 2011

Sorry this post is a little late...I didn't have any pictures because it was a bit hectic but Diane McConville thankfully took some for me and sent them my way!!  For the babies' first birthday Joe and I got them a triple choo-choo wagon so we thought we would take it to the Annual Cold Spring Memorial Day Parade (the one in which Joe was the guest speaker at two years ago).  We quickly learned that they still need their morning nap half way through the parade!  By the time the parade was over and we walked to the area where the speakers were they were done!  Ava had, had a REALLY bad diaper rash (she has extremely sensitive skin) and she had gone to the bathroom so she was crying hysterically in the middle of the prayer and speeches.  Once everyone started turning around and staring at us, that was our cue to leave!  So it ended up being a quick trip but you live and learn from it I guess right?! 

My in-laws had a cook out for Memorial Day and we got to see all of our Cold Spring friends!  Here are the pictures that Diane sent me recently...
