Among all the chaos we celebrated Brody and Sadie's 2nd birthday July 15th! Aunt Jen bought them a cute doggy birthday cake from a local store that makes them out of peanut butter. Funny story goes with it though... we were trying to cut the cake for them for quite a while and couldn't figure out why it was so hard. In order to put candles on it we used some cream cheese and stuck the candles in it so we could sing. We also noticed that there was a lot of lint and hair on top of the cake...come to find out the daughter of the store owner had accidentally given Jen the display cake rather than a real one from the back!! So we'll be celebrating their birthday again with a real cake!
